I just came back from into the great wide open, a wonderful festival on one of our little islands in the wadden sea (Vlieland). I was asked to create a light installation inspired on the beautiful nature on the island. I found a perfect spot, just outside the forest at the top of a dune. On this top you could see both sides of the island, wind hitting hard against the marram grass, which is the fur of the dunes.
Optic grass shows marram only visible at night….
